ETH Zurich has further professionalised its AV production with its own video studio. auviso was a competent and innovative partner. Among other things, the video studio was equipped with a flexible ceiling construction (studiorail), on whose rails spotlights and cameras can be mounted as desired.
ETH Zurich is one of the world's leading technical and scientific universities. The production of videos for research and teaching, for which Multimedia Services is responsible, requires innovation and flexibility in order to meet internal demands for quality and efficiency - while at the same time ensuring investment security.
So the studio had to be fully geared up for production in 4K - on a manageable budget and with the expectation of efficient operation. auviso was able to compensate for the still low level of experience in operating in 4K with a great deal of initiative and offer a reliable solution that also provides options for later additions.
Furthermore, the very heterogeneous production requirements from simple screencast to green screen had to be covered: auviso scored here with a ceiling construction (studiorail) that allows flexible placement of spotlights and cameras and makes the studio amazingly multifunctional with little personnel.
At the end of the new building, which was completed on schedule, project manager Martin Haas was satisfied: The latest technological concepts and equipment were combined into a functioning studio unit with extremely differentiated requirements and a given budget: "My team and I are very satisfied that the studio is already proving itself for the client today - and confident that it will be able to keep up the day after tomorrow".
