The Letzigrund Stadium is a Zurich football and athletics stadium that is also used as an event venue. With a capacity of over 50,000 concert-goers, the Letzigrund stadium is the largest event venue in Switzerland.
On behalf of Daktronics GmbH, auviso placed two new LED screens on the stadium roof.
At 10.7 metres wide and 5.8 metres high, the LED screens are around 62m² in size and weigh over 11.5 tonnes. The work at dizzy heights required special machines as well as assembly techniques. Perfect coordination of the various components and suppliers enabled a smooth installation of the LED walls. The screens from Daktronics offer optimal visibility in different weather conditions and can be used for live communication.
