Making the invisible visible
In many companies, ghost meetings and rooms that are permanently occupied but still empty are part of everyday life. At the same time, employees complain about poor air quality or fatigue during meetings.
Logitech Spot uses a radar-based sensor to detect whether a room is actually occupied and simultaneously measures important environmental data such as temperature, humidity, CO₂, VOC and particulate matter. This data flows into Logitech Sync and gives IT, facility and workplace managers a clear overview:
- How are rooms being used effectively?
- Where is the air quality critical?
- Where is there untapped potential for energy savings?
In this way, meaningful insights about the entire site are created from individual measuring points.
Smarter booking instead of long searches
Logitech Spot can also automate room bookings. If the system detects a presence, the room is booked automatically (Auto Book). As soon as presence is no longer detected, the system automatically releases the room again (Auto Release).
In combination with solutions such as Logitech Tap Scheduler, employees can see at a glance which rooms are available, whether in the calendar, on office maps or right outside the door. This reduces ghost meetings, simplifies spontaneous meetings and improves the utilization of existing space without taking up additional square meters.
Indoor climate, wellbeing and energy efficiency
Poor air quality has a direct impact on employees' concentration, well-being and productivity. Logitech Spot continuously provides environmental data and processed key figures on indoor health and energy consumption.
For example, companies can identify when CO₂ levels are too high, air changes should be optimized or temperatures can be adjusted. The results are more pleasant working conditions, better conditions for focused work and a sound basis for controlling heating, cooling and ventilation in an energy-efficient manner.
In this way, Logitech Spot supports both the well-being of employees and the company's sustainability goals.
