Packaging becomes insulation
We consistently collect and sort the Styrofoam generated during transport and installations so that it can be professionally recycled by swisspor and reused as insulation material in construction. As a full-service partner for event and media technology installations, we take responsibility for the entire lifecycle and help our clients implement sustainability in practice, including within the supply chain.
Whether event technology for a major event or media technology as a fixed installation in a building: to ensure that everything works reliably, technology must be transported and stored safely. Styrofoam often plays a key role here. It cushions, protects edges and keeps components stable. Once it has fulfilled its purpose, it usually ends up in the waste incineration plant. Not at auviso.
From "waste" to raw material
Styrofoam (also known as polystyrene or EPS) consists of 98% air. Light, robust, unavoidable. And completely recyclable, if you know how.
swisspor, one of the few Swiss companies that recycles EPS professionally and on a large scale, offers exactly that, which is why we work with them. The polystyrene from our events and installations does not end up as waste. It ends up in a big bag. swisspor collects it from us and gives it a second life: as insulation material for buildings. The packaging from your new conference room becomes the thermal insulation in the next new building.
Why this is relevant for you
More and more companies are taking a holistic approach to their responsibility. It is not just their own product or service that should be sustainable, but the entire supply chain. When you work with us, the packaging material does not go to waste. As a full-service partner for event technology and media technology installations, we take responsibility for the entire life cycle of a project.
That's not a big promise. It's a small, concrete step. But steps like this add up.
