For the Swiss Casino Winterthur, auviso was responsible for the specialist planning of the media technology for the newly designed casino and the integrated event hall. The aim was to meet both the functional requirements and the special architectural atmosphere of the location, with well thought-out solutions for daily operations as well as for a variety of event formats.
A zone-based audio system with high-quality loudspeakers from Fohhn was implemented in the casino area. The discreet integration of the technology into the industrial aesthetics and the striking timber construction was central to this. In addition, auviso planned a comprehensive announcement system as well as interfaces to the internal Jackpot server and the in-house radio. A wireless microphone system from Shure was also added at a later date. Numerous connection options for mobile event equipment ensure maximum flexibility in operation. In the event hall, the focus was on implementing a powerful and flexible event infrastructure. A line array system from Nexo ensures clear sound reinforcement even for larger events. In addition to the PA system, the specially designed truss construction also supports a variety of event lighting elements.
In addition, the scenographic lighting of the hall was planned with the aim of specifically staging the industrial character of the location. Interfaces to the mobile LED wall and numerous event connections round off the holistic concept.
