A festival atmosphere right on Lake Zug, ever-changing conditions, and a diverse program on the main and side stages.
The Villette Fäscht brings music, social gatherings, and a festival atmosphere right to Lake Zug and is one of the region’s best-known open-air events. As a technical partner, we supported the festival from planning through setup and operation to takedown, and were responsible for the main stage.
Our goal was to create the technical conditions necessary for a smooth festival experience for artists, organizers, and the audience. We were responsible for the technical planning of the main stage and handled the bands’ advancing as the technical point of contact, both during preproduction and on-site. During the festival, our crew ensured the technical operation of the main stage and supported the various productions as the event was underway.
The sprawling grounds at Hirsgarten posed special challenges for planning. Audio transmission and the evacuation system had to be taken into account, as did tight time frames, coordination with external contractors, the uneven ground, and changing weather conditions. Careful preparation, flexible workflows, and close coordination among all parties involved were therefore crucial.
A comprehensive solution for audio, lighting, and rigging was implemented on the main stage. This included, among other things, a high-performance PA system, LED spotlights, truss and motors, as well as roll risers for the stage equipment. Above all, the technology was designed to achieve one thing: optimal conditions for the on-stage productions and a cohesive experience for the audience.
Our specialists worked on-site alongside our apprentices. We believe it is valuable to involve young talent directly in real-world productions and give them the opportunity to take on responsibility and gain practical experience.
In addition, we served as the oversight body for the organizer to ensure compliance with the V-NISSG (Ordinance to the Federal Act on Protection against Hazards from Non-Ionizing Radiation and Noise). In doing so, we supported not only the technical implementation but also ensured safe and well-coordinated event operations.
We would like to thank the Villette Fäscht organizing committee for the pleasant collaboration and for their trust in our team.
