The Swiss Museum of Transport developed a new exhibition on the importance of Rhine shipping for Switzerland and international trade. The goal was to give visitors an interactive understanding of the diverse processes involved in shipping, logistics, and port operations. We supported the project with technical consulting and handled the technical implementation. All media solutions were carefully integrated into the exhibition concept and tailored to the various interactive zones.
Results and Added Value
The result is approximately ten interactive thematic stations featuring a variety of media and presentation formats. Highlights include a life-size ship’s cabin with a modern bridge, two boat simulators, various projection solutions, and a comprehensive audio installation. In addition, we installed approximately 20 Samsung displays with screen sizes ranging from 16 to 98 inches, integrated BrightSign media players, and implemented projections using Optoma and Panasonic projectors. We supplemented the existing lock model with modern information displays and incorporated it into the new media landscape. Working closely with the Swiss Museum of Transport, we created a contemporary exhibition that vividly and interactively introduces visitors to the world of Switzerland’s Rhine ports.
